Wayout has developed a proprietary distributed drinking water infrastructure platform combining advanced purification, controlled mineralisation, reusable logistics, smart dispensing and digital monitoring. The platform is designed to produce safe drinking water locally from virtually any water source and to address challenges like water stress, ageing infrastructure, transport costs, single-use plastic waste and carbon emissions. After several years of technology development and validation, the company is moving into commercial deployment and industrialisation. Wayout expects to sign its first commercial orders shortly and is building a pipeline across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The company strengthened its leadership by appointing Matthias Riehle as Working Chairman to support global deployment. Financially, Wayout completed a €2.42 million Series A extension that was oversubscribed, with proceeds earmarked for commercialisation, partnerships and international expansion.
