We Are Learning offers an authoring tool that lets training owners build interactive courses called "Stories" that function across platforms. The product combines AI features and 3D-animated characters to give course creators creative capabilities without needing a full creative team. Founded and launched in 2023 by Rolf Risnes and Lars-Petter W. Kjos (with Atle Myhrer Knudtzon and Markus Tallaksen), the team previously built and sold the learning platform Motimate. Since launch the company has users in over 50 countries and customers including Tapestry, Southeastern Railways, REMA 1000 and Elkjøp. The company raised €2.3 million (about NOK 27 million) to fuel international expansion, with a particular focus on the U.S. market. We Are Learning plans to use AI to automate repetitive tasks while strengthening creativity, pedagogy and learning effectiveness.
