Overview
WealthArc is a Zurich-based, cloud-native wealthtech platform that brings thorough digitization to wealth management by automatically gathering and curating high-quality investment data with AI. The platform connects via proprietary APIs and serves more than 60 private bank clients. Customers are located in Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva and Lugano), as well as in Singapore, Dubai, the United Kingdom, and the company has won initial clients in Latin America and Asia. WealthArc employs over 40 professionals across Zurich, Geneva and an R&D centre in Warsaw, and recently added executives from firms including additiv and Crelogix to its management board. The company secured $4 million in a pre-series A round from US and Swiss investors and will use the proceeds to strengthen overseas growth, expand its domestic Swiss presence, and continue developing its digital platform. Product and R&D priorities cited for the funding include artificial intelligence, custodian data reconciliation, analytics, recruitment strategy and new business opportunities. RJ Management, a participant in the round, noted that WealthArc delivered three consecutive years of 200% growth per annum and said it became an investor after integrating the platform as a user. WealthArc is an early-stage FinTech startup offering a cloud-based platform for financial data analysis and client interaction tailored to wealth managers. The platform uses machine learning algorithms to process large amounts of financial data, monitor investment guidelines, and support portfolio management decisions while leveraging Microsoft Azure for computing and storage. The company is a member of Microsoft BizSpark and emphasizes cyber-security for cloud-based financial services. Founders have prior experience developing asset management systems at hedge funds and top-tier banks including UBS and JP Morgan in London and Zurich. WealthArc has offices in Zurich and Warsaw and in the Washington, D.C. metro area and plans to bring its platform to market in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States later this year. Financially, the company completed a USD 300,000 seed round from U.S.-based venture capital firm Novit LP to fund continued R&D on artificial intelligence for portfolio management and cybersecurity.
