WeCook is a Quebec-based provider of fresh, ready-to-eat meals delivered to customers' homes. The company offers ready-to-eat meals that can be heated in two minutes and aims at a broad consumer base beyond athletes and fitness enthusiasts. WeCook operates an online sales platform and a delivery network across Quebec and Ontario with about 100 pick-up locations and food production facilities in Saint-Hyacinthe and Dorval. Founded in 2013, it employs more than 150 people, serves close to 20,000 customers, and prepares nearly 670,000 meals a year. The company plans to use new financing to enhance its distribution and marketing platform, strengthen talent acquisition, and pursue research and development as it targets expansion into the Ontario market. WeCook aims to become the largest company delivering freshly prepared meals across Canada by 2022.
