Overview
WeDo is an iPhone task-management app organized into Home, Tasks and Chat panels that centers collaboration through social “Tribes” and persistent invites. Users can tag tasks to Tribes to share them and discuss tasks either under items or in a separate Chat panel. The app launched free on iPhone after amassing an 11,000-person waiting list in stealth and offering special access to early TechCrunch readers. Pre-launch testing showed heavy usage of the social and chat features, which the founders say differentiate WeDo from incumbents. Co‑founders Raad Mobrem (former Lettuce Apps founder) and CEO Spencer Shulem are positioning the product as a platform entry point for broader productivity services. The company has raised just under $1 million in an early round from angel investors.
