Weedingtech develops and sells Foamstream, a patented weed-control system that combines hot water and an organic foam made from plant oils and sugars to destroy weeds without harming other plant life or human health. The technology is organic-certified, free of controversial chemicals such as glyphosate, and can be applied in all weather conditions. Foamstream is marketed as a replacement for toxic herbicides and has been adopted by businesses such as Yeo Valley Family Farms and Southwest Water, as well as local authorities including Southwark, Glastonbury and Hammersmith & Fulham. The system is deployed across multiple European countries (including Sweden, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland) and in Canada. The company is co-founded by environmental campaigner and entrepreneur Ben Goldsmith and is led by CEO Leo de Montaignac.
