Overview

WeeFin provides financial services companies with a SaaS platform that centralises the data needed to deploy and manage sustainability strategies, covering ESG, impact and climate. The company was launched in 2021 by Grégoire Hug, Marion Aubert and Guillaume Klech. WeeFin serves more than 40 customers across Europe, including Generali Asset Management, Caisse des Dépôts Asset Management, Groupe BPCE and Malakoff Humanis. Its Annual Recurring Revenue has increased fivefold in recent years and 30% of total revenue now comes from international sales, up from 0% two years ago. The company has doubled headcount in two years, opened a UK office and signed new clients in Luxembourg and Italy. WeeFin plans to use the new funding to further enhance its products and continue expansion across Europe, and intends to hire more than 100 employees over the next three years. WeeFin offers ESG Connect, a SaaS platform that collects, aggregates and improves the quality of ESG data to help financial institutions analyze, track and report on their ESG commitments, with add-ons for shareholder engagement and exclusion policies. The company serves over 35 clients in Europe and aggregates €4,454 billion assets under management and 8m+ portfolio companies. Founded in 2018, WeeFin plans to expand its product range with new platform functionalities in 2024 and to enter new European markets. The Series A proceeds will be used to foster growth across Europe, boost R&D, and support hiring more than 100 employees in tech and sales over the next two years. WeeFin is opening a London office (Q1 2024) and is positioning its product to help clients comply with upcoming regulatory changes such as the SRI label update, SFDR level 2 (2025) and the UK SDR implementation.
