Wiplo develops a combined fusion-sensor hardware and AI data-analysis solution that detects abnormal signs in mobility equipment across production quality inspection and operational condition diagnostics. Its smart inspection pad product line, verti-Pit, performs non-contact automated checks and has been commercialized initially for drone diagnostics. The company began as a Hanwha Systems in-house venture in 2022 and has validated its solution through a combat experiment with the Army Education Command. Wiplo is listed among the Defense Acquisition Program Administration’s ‘Defense Innovation 100’ and has partnered with Poland’s WB Electronics to support entry into overseas defense markets. In a government drone-delivery demonstration, it established 152 delivery points in 19 local governments and operates 29 AI inspection pads. Wiplo plans to use recent funding to improve predictive-maintenance AI models and build an integrated, data-driven analysis platform to manage diverse mobility data and expand beyond single-equipment inspections.
