WEGoT develops VenAqua, a sensor-based IoT device and software platform that connects to water inlet pipes to deliver integrated water management solutions. The Chennai-based company was founded in 2015 and aims to address the water crisis across residential and commercial buildings. WEGoT reports having implemented over 1 lakh smart devices across 30,000 homes and more than 40 million square feet of commercial real estate, with visibility to scale to 10 lakh devices in the next 12 months. Its clients include Prestige Group, Godrej Properties, Brigade Group, Mahindra World City, and Brookfield. The firm plans to use new funding to strengthen its team, expand its footprint across India, enhance existing product capabilities, and hire across teams. In 2019 WEGoT previously raised $2 million in a seed round.
