微盟 is a WeChat third-party service platform and SaaS software provider founded in April 2013 that delivers integrated development, operations, training and promotion solutions on the WeChat ecosystem. Its core product enables small and medium enterprises to build low-cost mobile e-commerce platforms and quickly acquire traffic via marketing tools and promotion channels provided by 微盟. End users can transact through online customer service and online payment tools, while merchants receive SCRM, traffic analysis and other tools to analyze user behavior and manage customers. The company reports it serves over 400,000 merchants and has a team of nearly 200 employees. 微盟 plans to pursue vertical, deep customization in industries such as restaurants, takeout and beauty/hairdressing and will roll out a simplified "微盟旺铺" store product. Recently it raised RMB30 million in a Series A and previously received a several-million-RMB angel round.
