Well.pk is an online retailer focused on health and well-being products, originally selling fitness supplements, vitamins and herbal goods and later expanding into home appliances and delicate medical equipment. The site currently lists about 4,000 items for sale. The startup operates its own resource centers, handles deliveries through direct collaborations with logistics firms and does not use a common marketplace model. It hosts an in-house team of qualified nutritionists and pharmacists to assist customers and answer queries. The company plans to use the seed funding to strengthen its technology, streamline operations and bolster customer support. A related venture, Dawaai.pk, is run by the same administration and, started in April 2014, positions itself as Pakistan’s first online pharmacy delivering authentic medicine to doorsteps.
