The company offers point-of-sale sales financing and payment solutions for small, independent businesses, targeting retail, health and home improvement sectors. It leverages mobile technology to deliver the fastest application process available on the market. Wellspring aims to help partners sell more while making purchases more affordable for consumers. Founded in 2013, the company plans to make its sales financing solution available in select Canadian cities later this month. To support its operations it closed a $3MM common equity private placement and is proceeding to complete a $15MM warehousing facility plus a $6MM preferred share offering.
