WheelsEye is building a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for the logistics industry to enable automation and improve efficiency. The Gurugram-based startup was founded last year by Anshul Mimani and Manish Somani, former executives of bus aggregation platform Shuttl. It raised Rs 7 crore (around $1 million) in early-stage funding from Prime Venture Partners and will use the capital to refine a product that is still in early development. The company emphasises effective prioritisation and application of data and technology to reduce wastage and improve coordination among the sector's multiple stakeholders. WheelsEye positions itself in a fragmented Indian logistics market that has grown at a 7.8% CAGR over the past five years and faces infrastructure, skilled manpower, and technology-adoption challenges. The startup is focused solely on the technology front, similar to peers such as Locus, rather than operating as a marketplace.
