Wheere develops a geolocation system capable of penetrating up to 50 m of concrete and covering a square kilometer with a small number of transmitters. Its terrestrial technology is reported to be 95% operational and the company has started commercial deployments and proofs of concept with industrial customers such as EDF, TotalEnergies and L’Oréal. Wheere projects €1M revenue in 2026 from ongoing POCs and forecasts €2.5M in 2027 while scaling through integrator partners and international deployments. Strategically, the company plans to launch space demonstrators beginning February 2027 on an Exotrail bus and expand into a constellation (65 satellites by end-2029, 300 by 2031) to enable global coverage. Wheere is also investing in miniaturization to produce a low-cost component that captures terrestrial and satellite signals, shifting future monetization toward services rather than hardware.
