WhiteFlag is a mobile app that provides anonymous, 24/7 peer-to-peer support connecting people struggling with mental health to free, customized support. The app enables immediate, anonymous connections with peers who have lived experience, with no appointments or judgement. Production of the app began last summer following founder Jonny McCoy's local mental-health programs and a stay in a PTSD treatment facility. The leadership team includes CEO and founder Jonny McCoy, co-founder and CTO Trent Tinker, Chief of Operations Patricia McCoy, Vice President Kash Kiefer, and adviser Joey Jackson. WhiteFlag is seeking beta testers ahead of a planned early-June launch on Google Play and the Apple stores. Financially, the company announced a $500,000 first investment from an angel investor to support beta testing and the initial rollout.
