WhoAPI is developing an extensive API that returns domain name–related information for integration into web and mobile applications. The company is based in Rijeka and is currently operating in beta. Founders Goran Duskic and Edi Budimlic plan to use new capital and proceeds from a prior exit to expand server capacity and ramp sales and user acquisition efforts. The founders previously sold their hosting business, GEM Studio, to one of Croatia’s largest hosting companies and have pursued investors across Europe. WhoAPI has received inbound interest even with only a landing page and intends to extend the service in the coming months. The team has participated in European programs including HackFwd and Mini Seedcamp to seek support and exposure.
