Whole Green Foods is commercializing WINX™ (whole ingredient nutrient extraction), a chemical-free process designed to extract ingredients for food and drinks while eliminating wastewater and decanted fibre associated with conventional oat milk production. WINX™ aims to reduce food waste by using all ingredients in plant-based product creation and to be cost-effective. The company says the technology can produce ingredients for a range of food and beverage applications. Recent funding will support continued development and move the technology toward commercialization. Whole. has partnered with a large ingredient manufacturer and is evaluating production locations, including Western Australia or Malaysia, as it scales.
