Whomor operates a crowdsourcing platform for comics and storyboards that optimizes the production process from ideas to finished sketches to enable mass-produced, high-quality content. The company serves outsourced comic productions and develops original comic series based on its intellectual property while monetizing new comic media. Whomor has produced native advertising content using comics and began publishing those ads in the game media section of Yahoo Japan. It has strengthened partnerships with media websites, app introducers, gaming IP owners in Japan and abroad, and comic-focused media in China and Korea. Since launching in January 2011, the platform has acquired about 3,000 crowdsourced creators, roughly 70% based in Japan and 30% outside Japan. Whomor has also pursued strategic moves such as acquiring Androbook from Voyage Group.
