Wiboo offers an online engagement platform for B2B and B2C clients and created WiBX, the first utility token in Brazil traded on Mercado Bitcoin. The company is headquartered in São José dos Campos (SP). It received a R$15 million investment from Grupo Shibata, which became one of its shareholders. Wiboo will use the funds to expand operations, hire new professionals, structure commercial processes and improve its platform. The startup plans to implement automated processes with artificial intelligence to improve KYC and to develop new research fronts in fraud prevention, behavioral biometrics and AI. It will also expand its partnership with the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) to support those initiatives.
