To address the rise of AI-generated CVs, the company is rolling out Willo Verified Profiles, which pulls data from third-party sources to automatically confirm a candidate’s identity, education, work history, and skills. This ‘blue-tick’ approach aims to help genuine applicants stand out while reducing manual credential checks for recruiters. The new feature, along with fresh capital, will underpin an expansion push into North America. Founded by Scottish entrepreneurs Euan Cameron, Andrew Wood, and Hamish Livingston, Willo has now raised more than £5.9 million in total funding. Although revenue figures were not disclosed, the company cites strong market demand and a growing customer base as validation of its model.
