Winden is a neobank built for digital entrepreneurs, offering deposit banking, spend management, virtual and physical cards, and an expert community tailored to solo online businesses. The company targets single-person e-commerce businesses, digital freelancers, and agencies with features including free ACH, wire and check payments, transaction and expense management, and unlimited cash back on ad spend. Winden was founded in August 2021 by Daniel Sathyanesan, a former Apple Card user-experience designer. The six-person startup unveiled its product earlier this year and reports nearly 2,000 approved customers. The company raised a $5.3M seed round and plans to use the capital to make its first go-to-market hires and scale headcount to about 50 employees by year’s end.
