Windsor & Eton Brewery brews and sells a range of beers through its own venues, an online store, and to free trade, pub companies, supermarkets and off-licences. The business has just closed a successful crowdfunding campaign after reporting its best ever sales year. It raised significant support from retail investors and plans to use the funds to open a new pub or bar, increase brewing flexibility and capacity, and develop its first brand-building campaign. The brewery reported strong early momentum in the raise, with more than £215,000 invested in the first 24 hours. The company continues to operate its venues while expanding production and marketing efforts following the campaign. Chairman and co-founder Will Calvert highlighted the ongoing support from their backers and the brewery's roots in the historic brewing town.
