Overview
WineBank operates a WineTech platform that centralizes purchase, custody and sale of authenticated fine wines, launching its cloud-based WineBank service in 2022. In 2025 the company released a WineBank marketplace enabling C2C fine-wine transactions and in July 2025 launched a paid membership service, WineBank CLUB, to offer members restaurant-level wine experiences and exclusive benefits. The business is organized around four pillars: WineTech, restaurant and wholesale, membership club, and EC/retail, and the group expanded in 2024 by bringing the long-established grand maison Apicius into the group and opened Bistro&Bar WineBank terrace in Tokyo Midtown in July 2025. WineBank operates EC retail under the 'Aoyama Wine Market' brand and leverages a 55-year heritage from the predecessor business it succeeded in 2022. The company currently reports a group network of 24 restaurants and aims to grow total wine holdings to ¥10 billion as part of its distribution-scale objectives. WineBank has disclosed capital of ¥437,169 thousand (including capital surplus) and lists shareholders including Money Forward Venture Partners (HIRAC FUND2), Private BANK, Vector, Terada Soko, individual investors and management.
