WineYouWant operates a wine trading and resale business under the same name that has been based in Lyon for a little over ten years. The company has been developing the new venue project for about five years and says it raised €1.2 million to launch it. The new site will occupy the former collège Serin in Lyon's 4th arrondissement and is positioned around wine, gastronomy, storage and private salons. Vincent Galy, director and cofounder, is leading the project and spoke to the local press about the concept. The idea was inspired by a German concept that blended wine storage with private lounges. The venue was scheduled to open in the second half of September.
