WireBarley offers fully contactless global remittance services through its mobile app and web platform, led by CEO Joong-Won Yoo. The company operates in five countries—US, Canada, Australia, South Korea and New Zealand—and serves 21 recipient countries via a network of 80 remittance corridors. It has gained more than 400,000 app downloads and has accumulated well over $400M in revenue to date. WireBarley plans to use new funding to strengthen its individual remittance capabilities and expand into the B2B market. The company is pursuing regional expansion, launching in Hong Kong in October and adding recipient countries in Europe and the Middle East. Over the next few months it will invest in new products, including Multi-Currency Wallet services and additional banking services for North America.
