Wirelane designs, installs, operates and markets public and private EV charging infrastructure and offers advanced charging hardware, a digital management platform, billing services, and end-to-end installation and operation support. The company serves hotels, real-estate customers and municipalities and is positioned as a preferred partner for public charging projects. Wirelane plans to rapidly expand its network, targeting around 3,000 charging points in over 450 municipalities by the end of 2023, with a focus on urban residential areas. In August it acquired Köln-based On Charge (now trading as Wirelane Public Charging Germany GmbH) to broaden its public charging footprint where people live. Financially, Wirelane completed an €11M Series B expansion to continue its growth trajectory. Founded in 2016 and based in Munich, the company aims to become one of the leading charging infrastructure providers in Germany. Wirelane offers end-to-end charging infrastructure solutions, including installation, operation and marketing, delivered via its cloud-based WirelaneOS. The platform currently manages over 13,000 charging stations and, as an Electric Mobility Provider, offers access to more than 95,000 public charging points across Europe. Wirelane processes over 60,000 charging transactions per month and serves clients across hospitality, property, large corporations and public-sector customers. Since its founding in 2016 the company has operated from offices in Munich and Berlin and works with customers including BMW and Vattenfall. With fresh growth capital, Wirelane plans to expand product development, sales and operations and to scale installation activity significantly over the coming years. Management has said the company aims to build a five-figure number of charging stations in the next three years and to onboard hundreds of new B2B customers in the near term.
