Overview
Wireless Innovation is a UK-based M2M managed services connectivity provider founded in 2004 by CEO Phil Rouse. It delivers connectivity as a managed service via its own platform and specializes in M2M data connectivity in partnership with satellite and cellular providers worldwide. Its clients operate in over 100 countries across sectors including renewables, electricity, water, oil & gas, telematics, aviation and marine. Notable customers include EDF Energy, Iberdrola and Scottish Water. In April 2017 the company received a £20m investment from Lyceum Capital. As part of the transaction Edward Spurrier, former CEO of Alternative Networks, joined as chairman and will lead the company's acquisition strategy alongside Rouse. Lyceum's deal team included Simon Hitchcock, Luke Kingston, Tom Maizels, Anne‑Claire de Pompignan and Geoff Neville, with Hitchcock and Neville joining the company's board.
