Wisdom Gaming Group is a Minneapolis-based digital media company that provides an esports marketing platform, digital content, and a gaming media network portfolio. Its portfolio includes HeroesHearth, Alpine Esports and Giant Slayer. The company is led by CEO Mike Zweigbaum and partner and President TJ McLeod. In 2019 Wisdom Gaming Group acquired HeroesHearth, and in 2020 it acquired Alpine Esports and Gold Rush, expanding its community, competitive and tournament offerings. The company secured $3M in Series A funding and intends to use the proceeds to continue growing its services. Excelsior Ventures Fund led the round and Michael Hoffman of Excelsior joined Wisdom Gaming Group’s board of directors.
