Wisewell provides an installation-free machine that transforms tap water into high-quality drinking water that rivals top bottled brands in taste at less than a third the cost per liter. Its proprietary four-step Full Spectrum Filtration process removes most known contaminants, including forever chemicals (PFAS) and microplastics, and then remineralizes the water for taste and hydration. The system uses reverse osmosis and pairs with an app that monitors tap-water quality via sensors, reports filter workload, and notifies users when replacements are needed. The app also tracks consumers’ cost savings compared with leading bottled water brands and the improved carbon footprint from reduced bottled-water purchases. The company is led by co-founders Sami Khoreibi and Sebastien Wakim and is based in New York. Wisewell intends to use new funds to expand operations and broaden its business reach.
