Withe is a Vancouver-based SaaS on-demand video interview platform built for enterprises that hire hundreds to thousands of people at the same time. Its software lets staffing and recruiting teams—particularly in tourism and hospitality—embed video calling directly into their websites to strengthen face-to-face relationships, capture leads at the moment of interest, and demo products live without downloads or extra tabs. The company announced a $1.1M pre-seed raise led by San Francisco-based firm Focal and has signed its first enterprise customer, Trueblue. Withe was also one of five Vancouver companies accepted into On Deck’s ODX program, which offers $125,000 for seven percent equity. The startup plans to use the funding to hire additional staff, expand its product offerings, and push into new markets.
