Without operates India’s first FOAK (First of a Kind) demonstration recycling plant, capable of processing up to 5 tons of multi-layer plastic waste per month on a 1,030 sq m site. Its patented chemo-mechanical process extracts two core outputs—VERDiFLX (high-quality polyolefin) and VERDiTPA (purified terephthalic acid)—which it sells to brands seeking sustainable raw materials. Operating primarily as a B2B supplier, the company has already diverted and processed more than 760,000 pieces of plastic waste and also markets consumer items such as sunglasses and coasters in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. Revenues were not disclosed, but the firm has attracted attention through Shark Tank India and environmental advocates. Near-term plans include launching three additional recycling hubs within two years to build a nationwide, decentralised network. Over the next 7–10 years, Without aims to recycle all forms of plastic and textile waste in India, creating sustainable employment for waste-sector workers. The current demonstration facility is the first phase of a larger commercial plant slated for launch next year.
