Wittaya Aqua offers a feed-to-farm platform that centralizes fragmented aquaculture data from farmers, feed mills and ingredient suppliers to deliver actionable insights. The platform uses AI and machine learning to forecast animal growth, recommend optimal feed types and quantities, and model the impacts of different feed ingredients on performance. Unlike many competitors, Wittaya combines nutritional information with field performance and supports multiple species and geographies. The company entered Singapore in 2023 and is focused on further expansion into Asia. Wittaya says it is in the revenue-generation stage and has secured customers including BioMar, De Heus, Uni-President, US Soybean Export Council, Soy Aquaculture Alliance, Temasek Lifesciences Laboratory and AquaChile. The startup was co-founded in 2017 and currently has 16 staff across Canada and Singapore. In the longer term it plans to use its data to reduce perceived credit and insurance risks for farmers and to match users with lenders and insurers offering customized financial products.
