WonderLuk operates an on-demand marketplace selling bold, customizable jewelry and accessories produced using 3D printing. The site opened in April and the company works with seven designers whose pieces—about 60 products on sale so far—are printed on demand and shipped within two weeks. The business runs a revenue-share model with designers, and roughly 80% of buyers request some form of personalization. Pricing is generally above mass-produced high-street accessories but undercuts one-off bespoke designer pieces; WonderLuk uses a U.K. 3D-printing supplier and is testing luxury materials such as 18k gold and titanium. Co-founders Roberta Lucca and Andre Schober founded the company in July last year and report cumulative visitors of more than 20,000 with week-on-week growth. The company plans to expand product categories into shoes, homeware and eventually clothing as it scales.
