Woola makes protective packaging from wool intended to replace plastic cushioning such as bubble wrap. The company has focused since 2020 on replacing bubble wrap in e-commerce. It is now expanding its offering into the luxury goods market. Woola is led by CEO Anna-Liisa Palatu. The company recently won the LVMH Innovation Award in the “Sustainability and Greentech” category and joined LVMH’s accelerator La Maison des Startups. Woola intends to use new funding to grow its sales and marketing team.
