Woosh is developing a smart air-filter product that combines an injection-molded frame allowing filter changes like a Swiffer Sweeper with connected sensors. The filter frame is designed to reduce waste to landfills by simplifying replacement. The smart filter connects to home Wi‑Fi and transmits data to a mobile app, enabling filters to be delivered via subscription. Woosh plans to use MERV13-rated filters that capture more than 50% of viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19. The company raised $1.3M in funding to advance the product. Woosh is officially launching on Kickstarter and expects to deliver the consumer product in Q4 2022.
