Workbounce builds a search, collaboration and analytics platform for B2B salespeople, positioning itself as “Google meets Slack” and acting as a single point of entry to data hubs such as Google Drive and Slack. The product aims to help sales teams find information, manage customer relationships, reduce administrative work and understand client engagement. The company was founded in 2021 by Rowan Bailey and Adam Smith, who previously worked at Peakon. Workbounce is based in London and will use the majority of the recent funding to hire a CTO, software engineers, designers and an operations manager. It raised £2.05m ($2.7m) in a seed round led by Index Ventures via its Index Origin fund, with additional angel investors from companies including Wise, Snyk and Hubspot.
