The company generated $580 million in revenue last year and reported 40% growth in April. Workhuman is profitable and cash flow positive, and leadership says the business has grown fivefold since abandoning 2014 IPO plans. The company has not raised a venture round since 2004 and does not plan to in the near term. Management says it is still at the "tip of the iceberg" in terms of opportunity and was canvassing buyers before the COVID-19 pandemic; coronavirus increased business activity and drew investor attention.
