WorkSpan provides a Marketing Network SaaS platform that lets companies create, share and execute joint marketing campaigns with partner companies and agencies. The product includes a network security model (attribute-based access control), multi-tenant network SaaS architecture, cross-company apps for funding and approvals, and cross-company insights and search. WorkSpan's platform is designed to propagate campaigns rapidly to internal and external partners and to give shared visibility, accountability and funding controls across companies. The company emerged from an early-availability program with customers such as SAP, Intel, CenturyLink and Infosys and is making its global debut. WorkSpan reports high engagement metrics—nearing 100% engagement with top partner companies, a three-fold increase in demand and brand awareness, and examples like 200 Intel and 50 SAP marketers collaborating across five continents. Financially, WorkSpan announced a $9 million Series A financing led by Mayfield.
