Woowa Brothers operates Baedal Minjok, a food delivery app launched in June 2010 that claims to be South Korea's largest online and mobile food delivery service. The platform has more than 140,000 restaurants registered and processes about four million orders per month, with over 99% of orders placed via iOS or Android apps. The company says the new capital will be used to improve Baedal Minjok’s technology and to fuel its international expansion. Woowa has begun overseas expansion with a Japan-first strategy via a joint venture, Line Bros. Corp, which operates Line Wow and taps into Line’s 54 million registered users in Japan.
