Woven is an intelligent calendar app for professionals that manages the entire calendar lifecycle—planning, scheduling, preparation, meeting, and follow-up—on both mobile and web. The app uses AI and a calendar graph engine to create “weaves,” plans that show how users want to spend their time and that can connect email, Google Docs, maps and other information to events. Weaves can exist before or after an event is scheduled, multiple users can collaboratively edit a weave, and the product works with and extends Google Calendar (G Suite). Woven can perform tasks automatically or on request and learns from each interaction to give users insight into how they use time. The company plans to extend support to Office 365 in the future. Woven raised $4.8M in seed funding. The company was co-founded by Burc Arpat (a former engineering leader at Facebook and Google) and Timothy Campos (a former Facebook CIO).
