Overview

Wrangle builds no-code software that automates company workflows, approvals and tickets directly inside chat platforms like Slack, allowing teams to collect requests via forms, assign tasks, send notifications and track progress. Launched in February 2021, the product automates employee onboarding, contract approvals, help tickets and other recurring work through automated checklists that live in chat. More than 800 organizations have used its workflow builder to complete over 10,000 workflows; the company has dozens of paying customers and reports revenue growth of 20–30% month over month. Founded in 2020 by Adam Smith and Adam Long, the remote company was bootstrapped until this round; the founders previously worked together at Automated Insights. Wrangle plans to expand support for Microsoft Teams and launch a web app for building and analyzing workflows, and will use new funding to grow the team, invest in product development and accelerate marketing. The product is positioned to keep operations in the communication tools teams already use, reducing app switching and preventing missed approvals.
