WYPLAY SAS, based in Alluach, France, develops and provides connected HDTVs, media center CE devices, HD IPTV boxes, HD set-top boxes and in-home media-HDD products. Its clients include SFR-Vodafone and D-Link. The company closed a €9.0m third financing round led by Amundi Private Equity Funds with participation from existing investors A Plus Finance, Elaia Partners and Sofinnova Partners. Together with two previous investment rounds totaling €14.0m, the new round brings Wyplay’s total funding to €23.0m raised over three years. The new capital will enable the company to expand its offering by adding innovative web services, including an Application Store and the aggregation of hundreds of online TV content providers.
