Isaacs as chairman, Christopher Ray as a director, and Dominic Ryan, Ph.D., as chief scientific officer to strengthen drug discovery and development capabilities. X-Biotix pursues a multi-target discovery strategy to rapidly identify and validate novel small-molecule scaffolds predicted to defeat known resistance mechanisms and address indications such as bacteremia, hospital- and ventilator-acquired pneumonia, and other complicated nosocomial infections.
