Xanadu Heights is building an original virtual-reality racing game franchise designed specifically for VR headsets. The team has been developing the game since late 2015 and is focused on creating original IP for the VR gaming space. The product is planned as three progressively complex chapters delivered as paid downloadable content (DLC), with early bird access to the first chapter beginning later this winter. The first chapter will be initially available on Samsung Gear VR and HTC Vive, with an estimated initial price of $19.99. The company intends to use recent funding to build and launch the game’s first chapter later this year.
