Founded in 2024 by Satish Reddy, Sonu Mishra, and Varshith Rao, Xbattery develops BharatBMS, an in-house Battery Management System that supports up to 800 V applications and integrates both hardware and software for EV and stationary storage. The company also designs complementary high-performance battery packs, offering a full-stack energy storage solution that aims to cut India’s reliance on imported BMS technology. Xbattery’s seed-stage resources will be directed toward R&D, hardware sourcing, talent hiring, and scaling prototypes to meet early customer orders. Management plans to first satisfy domestic demand for robust, locally made BMS products before expanding exports to Europe and North America. Operating within India’s push to reach 500 GW of clean energy by 2030, the startup positions itself as a critical enabler of safer, more efficient, and longer-lasting batteries for EVs and grid storage. The recent seed raise of $2.3 million provides its initial external capital base to bring its technology to market and support commercialization.
