Overview
Xcalar offers a business analytics platform (Xcalar 1.2) that provides a user-friendly UI requiring no programming to build models, queries, schemas, regression analyses and machine learning algorithms. The platform scales out to hundreds of nodes, thousands of users, and petabytes of data, and supports on-prem or cloud deployment with point-and-click access to diverse storage systems (S3, Azure, GCS, HDFS, SAN, NAS, NFS, local file systems). Xcalar 1.2 integrates with visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Looker, Domo and Qlik, and supports thousands of relational, statistical and ML operations with detailed dataflow graphs for lineage and compliance. The company has partnerships with Microsoft, Google, Tableau, Confluent and MapR and is working on deployments and pre-production pilots with about a dozen Fortune 100 companies as well as government customers. Financially, Xcalar raised a $21M Series A and has secured over $21M in total venture capital funding. The company was co-founded by former Oracle technologist Vikram Joshi and Rebecca Ye, an early founder of Google Cloud Platform and former Oracle sales executive.
