XetHub
999 3rd Ave, 34th Floor, Seattle, WA, 98104, United States
Overview
XetHub builds a Git-based collaborative storage platform that enables developers to manage and version data using familiar Git primitives and integrations. The service currently supports repositories up to 1TB and the team plans to expand capacity to 100TB. Developers can mount repositories to behave like a local filesystem on laptops or large GPU clusters, and the platform is agnostic to file formats. The company is focusing its marketing on AI/ML teams but the product can be used to manage any kind of data. XetHub offers a free community edition providing up to 20GB of deduplicated storage and says it is already talking to enterprise customers. The company was co-founded by Yucheng Low, Ajit Banerjee and Rajat Arya, who previously worked together at Turi and on Apple’s ML and data platform teams. XetHub announced a $7.5M seed financing led by Madrona.
