Overview
Incitor is an Albuquerque, N.M.-based renewable/biomass energy and chemical company. It develops a patent-pending low-temperature chemical process that breaks down agricultural, solid, woody, or algal waste into commodity petrochemical replacements and specialty bio-based chemicals. The company also produces Alestron, described as a novel third-generation biofuel compatible with both gasoline and diesel. Led by CEO Dr. John Elling, Incitor intends to use new funding to commercialize its biofuel and biochemical production processes. It is scaling up its process to a 15,000–30,000 gallon-per-year demonstration facility. Incitor recently raised $1.5M in Series A financing to support these commercialization and scale-up efforts.
