XGimi Technology is a China-based home entertainment technology manufacturer that makes high-definition widescreen projectors. Its projectors can display television programming on walls up to 300 inches and can connect to mobile devices. The company raised more than RMB600m (about $95m) in its latest funding round. Investors in the round included Baidu, Matrix Partners China, Sichuan Culture Industry Equity Investment Fund, Sailing Capital, Bojiang Capital, Pan-Lin Asset Management, Luxin Venture Capital Group and Jirui Capital. Baidu returned in the round and became XGimi's largest external shareholder after having initially invested last year.
