The product covers the full flow “from receipt to accounting,” with integrations to major online accounting platforms (Xero, Sage One, E-conomic, Freshbooks, QuickBooks Online, Exact Online, FreeAgent) and services like Dropbox and Evernote. The company targets enterprises, SMEs and sole traders and counts customers in 40 countries, including Pernod Ricard, Miele, Deloitte, Shapeways and freelancers. Xpenditure’s stated mission is to “kill the monthly expense report” by enabling on-the-fly submission and intuitive approval flows to eliminate month-end batching. The team says it has built technology to handle different European legal frameworks and to roll out quickly in new markets. Financially, the company has closed a $5.7M Series A to scale its business and product adoption.
